The Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety qualification is designed for learners who are responsible for health & safety in their workplace. A recognised route to Graduate membership of IOSH and equivalent to degree level and other Diplomas such as NCRQ and NEBOSH.
Those working in the Construction sector will be able to apply for the black 'Managers' CSCS card on completion of the NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety practice qualification. Suitable for Health and Safety Managers, or Construction Site Supervisors / Managers with Health and Safety responsibilities.

The qualification assesses the learners competence in their role, therefore, in order to meet the assessment criteria candidates should be working in the role whereby Health and Safety is a key part of that role. Candidates must also be aged 19+.
The learner will be assessed using a range of methods tailored to the learners needs. These vary from on-site assessments, observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion, and witness testimonials.
