Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff.
Our fire marshal training course covers extensive knowledge of fire prevention, evacuation protocol, and the use of fire extinguishers.
RoSPA & CPD Approved
Our online fire safety training courses are aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace. A fire marshal (sometimes known as a fire warden) is a civilian trained to assist in emergency fire evacuation procedures at businesses and other organizations. It is a legal obligation that workplaces must have a sufficient number of fire marshals to deal with fire emergencies and emergency evacuation procedures.
Online training is flexible, efficient and cost-effective, so candidates can progress through the modules at their own pace, in their own time, making it easy to fit the training around their work and personal life.
The online training course will take 220 minutes (Note: This is based on the amount of video content shown and is rounded off. It does not account in any way for loading time or thinking time on the questions).
Our RoSPA, IATP, CPD, IIRSM & IFE approved courses are owned by VideoTile Learning Ltd and are distributed under licence.
Our online training course costs £25 +vat
A general rule of thumb is that your fire warden online training qualification will expire after 3 years. However, this depends on your local environment, circumstances, and requirements from your fire risk assessment.
There are many duties carried out by a fire marshal. These include assessing fire risks, spotting and reporting hazards, taking appropriate, whether that be health and safety-related, action when needed in the case of a fire, administering first aid where required, fighting the fire when necessary, and ensuring every person is safely and efficiently evacuated in the event of a fire in the workplace.
