About This NVQ

The aim of the NVQ Level 6 in Construction Contracting Operations Management qualification is to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding, as well as being able to demonstrate competence in the workplace when managing construction contracts.

Who is the NVQ For?

The NVQ Level 6 in Construction Contracting Operations Management qualification is aimed at candidates who are employed in a Contract Manager, Project Manager or Commercial Manager role. It has been developed for completion in a real workplace environment and on completion of the NVQ, you will be able to apply for a black ‘managers’ cscs card.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, the qualification will assess a learner’s competence in their current job role. As such, you will need to be working in a Contract Manager, Project Manager or Commercial Manager role, or running your own construction business. Learners must be aged 16+ and be working in a role that will allow them to demonstrate their competence against the required units.

Delivery

Learners will be assessed using a range of methods tailored to the learners needs. These vary from on-site assessments, observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussions, and witness testimonies.

Our NVQ Process

Evidence is gathered by means of; videos, photographs, on-site assessments, observations, written questions, workplace documents, professional discussions and witness testimonies. Your assessor will support you throughout the process. Evidence is uploaded and assessed via an E Portfolio whereby you can track your progress throughout.
